Paul Lynch is the prize-winning author of BEYOND THE SEA, GRACE, THE BLACK SNOW and RED SKY IN MORNING. Grace was published in 2017 to massive acclaim. The Washington Post called the book, "a moving work of lyrical and at times hallucinatory beauty… that reads like a hybrid of John Steinbeck’s ‘The Grapes of Wrath’ and Cormac McCarthy’s ‘The Road'". It won the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year and was shortlisted for the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction, the William Saroyan International Prize, and France’s Prix Littérature Monde andPrix Jean Monnet de Littérature Européenne. He has previously won France’s booksellers’ prize, Prix Libr’à Nous for Best Foreign Novel. Liberation has called him “one of today’s greatest Irish writers”. His fourth novel, BEYOND THE SEA, will be published in August 2019. He lives in Dublin with his wife and two children.
